How to Build Kasanga

Meet Kasanga Lion

Did you know?

Kasanga is a real Lion who lives at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, England. He began life in the circus and had already sired cubs.

Lions sleep between 16-20+ hours a day and do not use energy unless needed.

A Lion’s roar can be heard up to 5 miles away.


How to Build Instructions




Step 1

To assemble body, remove five pre-cut cardboard holes and crease cardboard along predefined lines (red lines inwards, blue lines outwards).



Step 2

Fold sides inwards ensuring the tail remains pointing outwards.



Step 3

Fold top backwards, tuck in side flaps while folding.



Step 4

Fold remaining  flap backwards. Feed tail through hole and fasten in the tabs securely.



Step 5

To assemble head, remove five pre-cut cardboard holes
Crease cardboard along predefined lines. Fold bottom and sides inwards. Insert tabs



Step 6

Fold top in
Ensure tabs are inserte



Step 7

Fold ears upwards



Step 8

Slide mane onto head from behind
Insert mane’s tab from back of lion’s head



Final

Bring two parts together and attach
Move head towards base and fasten
the three tabs in securely to complete
